About Movement Xpress Dance
Our teaching philosophy is influenced by the Twinkle Star Dance Method.
Movement Xpress Dance hosts a 4 week, 3-day free summer Princess Dance Camp for ages 4-6. We share introduction to ballet and tap dance lessons, arts & crafts, and just for fun activities acknowledging a different Disney Princess each week.
For our dance students and interested adults, we host bi-yearly one-day, fee-based workshop inviting a professionally trained guest ballerina to teach introductory lessons for “dance technique,” exercises specific to ballet, modern and lyrical dance choreography.
We host dance recitals for all age groups 4-12, presenting themed choreography for ballet, tap, and fusion of modern and lyrical style dances. Our students love our costumed dress rehearsals, there is so much excitement in the air as we prepare for our final presentation.
We also celebrate our students, when we are aware of student birthdays and milestones. Our dance classes are about creating an experience for celebrating what our dancers are doing, learning, and growing.
